The Kantiant™
For thousands of years, they observed. They calculated.
They protected — or so JO believed.
Now the conspiracy runs deeper than Earth itself.
The distance between
knowing everything
and understanding anything.
A civilization looked at everything that hurt — the wanting, the losing, the loving of things that would not last — and engineered it away. They called it progress. They lived a hundred million years in the quiet that remained. It was not unpleasant. It was not alive.
He fell through. And on the other side, he discovered that grace is not earned, that belonging is not applied for, and that the most extraordinary thing a species can do is make room for someone it does not understand.
This is a book about the distance between knowing everything and understanding anything — and what it costs to close it.

"We were built to observe without interfering.
They chose interference without observation.
That is the difference between a guardian and a god." — JO, Overwatcher #001
About the Author
This book started as a treatise on today's society. Somewhere along the way it became something bigger: a story about what happens when you've watched the same mistakes long enough to stop being surprised by them.
I had a lot of fun writing it. I hope you will like it. Book Two is coming.
